Help Protect Our Drinking Water Through Conservation
The Environmental Advisory Committee (EAC) in Laramie recommends that residents help protect our drinking water by:
❖ Disposing of household hazardous waste properly. Contact the Solid Waste Division at 307-721-5279 for more information.
❖ Taking used motor oil and antifreeze to the City Street Division or Albany County Road and Bridge.
❖ Pumping and inspecting your septic system at least once every three years.
❖ Using lawn chemicals only when necessary.
❖ Not dumping any material down street drains, since they all eventually flow to the Laramie River.
